The 3Es : Einstein, Ellington and Esperanza.

Einstein, Ellington and Esperanza are our curricular cornerstones. They are the basis of everything we teach. Use the links below to learn more about each area.

Habits of Mind

While the 3Es guide our curricular focus, EMBER guides our social-emotional learning. Based on the Habits of Mind from Stanford University, we focus on five of habits that we feel are the most important to middle schoolers.

Excellence - quality of work, attention to detail

Mindfulness - organization, time management, on-time and present in body and mind

Be Creative - design process, problem solving, original work

Empathy - learning to work well with others, kindness

Responsible Risk - asking for help, volunteering to perform/answer questions, doing challenging work

We practice these habits in all we do, both in and outside of the classroom.
