Teaching Positions
Howard Street Charter School is its own employer. As a charter school, we directly hire Oregon licensed teachers and non-licensed professionals with a charter registration through Oregon Teachers Standards and Practices.
Howard Street uses a hiring process that includes an interview, written responses, and teaching demonstrations.
Qualifications
College Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s - Masters of Education preferred)
Criminal Background Check - Fingerprinting
Oregon Teaching License or Oregon Charter School Registration
Desire to positively impact youth, charter education, and our community
Great schools need more than just great teachers; they need support both in and out of the classroom to help students be successful. These positions range from instructional assistants, custodial, office or food service staff.
