About Us
Howard Street Charter School is a small middle school serving 150 students grades 6-8 throughtout the Salem-Keizer area.
Our Curriculum is based on the 3Es: Einstein (math and science), Ellington (the fine and performing arts) & Esperanto (the Humanities and Language).

Honor Roll Breakfast is Friday.
Watch for your invitations in the mail for our annual Honor Roll Breakfast. This is just a small celebration of academic success at Howard Street. The breakfast will be Feb 12th at 8AM. Hope to see you there.
Parent Information Night and Open House!If you have a 5th grader interested in attending Howard Street next year, come to our Parent Information Night on Feb. 16th at 7pm in the Rose Auditorium. Learn about our curriculum and our school then come back on Wednesday afternoon between 2:30 and 4pm to get a tour and talk to staff and students. See you then.

Applications are now available for next year.It is hard to believe but applications for next year's 6th grade class are now available. You may come by the office and pick one up or go here and learn on how to apply.
