Mission Statement (provided by City of Salem)
The POWER Program, based on positive youth development, seeks to enhance the lives of Salem-Keizer middle school youth by increasing positive academic and social behaviors. POWER accomplishes this by providing safe, structured, drug-free after-school activities designed to promote outstanding work, education, and recreation in youth.
At Howard Street, we offer a wide variety of activities depending on the session.
