7th Humanities
7th grade Humanities is a 90 min class everyday that integrates social studies and language arts. This class continues to develop on the content of 6th grade with units on the Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire, the Rise of Islam, Imperial China, feudal Japan, medieval Europe and the Renaissance. Students continue to develop their reading and writing skills including writing a standard five paragraph essay and taking the 7th grade state writing test. This is a project-oriented class where students will need to work with others during a number of projects and simulations. Many projects integrate other disciplines in addition to social sciences and language arts.There are two sections of this class. Please choose your teacher below.
