6th Humanities
Humanities is a 90 min class everyday that integrates social studies and language arts. This class includes units on culture/geography, early man, Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, China, Greece, and Rome as well as reading skills, writing skills and group work. This is a project-oriented class where students will need to work with others during a number of projects and simulations. Many projects integrate other disciplines in addition to social sciences and language arts.
