6th grade Art

Art is a required class at Howard Street. All students will take three years of art while at Howard Street and 6th grade Art begins this sequence. Students will learn basic vocabulary and fundamentals of the visual arts in a variety of media. This semester long introduction allows students to be creative while learning the basics. This is a project-based class that often integrates with Humanities and other subject areas.
