How to Apply for the year 2009-2010
If you are interested in having your child attend Howard Street Charter School, please follow these application steps:
- Stop by Howard Street Charter School in person and pick up an application packet, or download it beginning Jan. 5, 2009.
- Plan on attending the Parent Information Night in late February.
- Fill out the application packet and drop if off at Howard Street Charter School before Friday, March 6 at 4:00.
- The Lottery will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, March 13. The lottery will determine the order of students to fill available slots.
- If you are chosen in the lottery for an open position, all enrollment confirmation cards will be due by April 10, 2009.
If you wish to apply for future years, you will need to wait for the new applications. Applications for the 2010-2011 year will be available January 2010 and may be different then current applications.
